Additionally, I'm been asked by the Gothard Sisters and conductor Anna Edwards to arrange 5 more of their songs for string orchestra, to be played with the Seattle Collaborative Orchestra. I think I've become the Gothards' official orchestral arranger, because no one else is doing work like this for them. I have to have 5 tunes done by December 4th, which is going to be a lot of work! But, it's definitely doable.
In addition to those two required projects, I have some other things in mind to improve sales from my online Store. I intend on completing Christmas Carols for Two Friendly Hornists, and well as simple arrangements intended for young horn quartets, brass quartets and brass quintets. I want to try to get all of that done in December (or sooner) in time for people to get it for Christmas concerts.
So yeah, I've acquired quite a number of projects. People who have a lot on their are the hungriest, and believe me, I'm hungry. I love that composition and arranging are a part of my work. I love that music is my work. It doesn't feel like work at all. It just feels like I get to have fun and play all day, every day. And I get paid for it.
Take care and value music.
